About our Teacher
I was born and raised in Hoi An-a central city of Vietnam. My husband and I are running a family business call Eat Hoi An which offer visitors experiences locally such as cooking class and street food tour. I love to share my passion for Vietnamese cuisine to people around the world. Since the pandemic, I turned my class online and have been teaching since then. Ingredients:
1.Greens soup with ginger and shrimp
50g finely chopped shrimp
10g finely chopped ginger
150g white mustard leaves/spinach/choy sum
1 tbsp finely chopped shallot
800ml water
3tsp fish sauce
1 tsp vegetables seasoning powder
1 tbsp vegetables oil (sun flower/canola/soy beans)
2. Caramelized shrimp and quail eggs
15 quail eggs/3 chicken eggs
150g medium size white shrimp (cut the heads and legs, Vietnamese love to keep the shell on, you can peel the shell if you don’t like)
5 cloves of garlic
1 tbsp chili sauce
1 tbsp oyster sauce
1 tsp fish sauce
1/2 tsp pepper
1 Thai chili
Sugar
Vegetables oil
Chicken seasoning powder/vegetables seasoning powder
Steamed rice
Cucumber
