Tradition Kitchens had a great time learning how to make sweet crepes from Isabelle, who grew up making these delicious pancakes for her friends and family in France. Isabelle is sharing her sweet recipe, and you can make it savory as well by adding different ingredients to the fillings and toppings. Below is the recipe and instructions.

Crepes Recipe
(yields 8 crepes)
Ingredients:
8 oz flour
3 tablespoons sugar
A pinch of salt
3 eggs
3 tablespoons of melted butter
1 1/2 cups of milk (room temperature)
1/2 tablespoon of vanilla extract
Butter for cooking
Recommended toppings: fresh fruit, chocolate sauce, caramel, sugar, whipped cream
Directions:
Combine flour, sugar and salt in a mixing bowl
Add the eggs, one at a time (using a whisk)
Add the butter and vanilla
Slowly add the milk, mix until combined, et voilà!
Melt a pat of butter in a pan or on the crepe griddle
Add one ladle of batter
Distribute the batter by rotating the pan, or using the wooden tool (for crepe griddle)
Cook until the bottom is nice and golden
Flip the crepe
Cook until the other bottom is nice and golden
Add your favorite fillings, enjoy, and repeat (best to wipe the pan with a wet paper towel and start again with a fresh pat of butter)
