Hot Milk Cake with Lucy

Tradition Kitchens had the privilege of partnering with Lucy again, who is sharing her hot milk cake recipe with us. Lucy learned to bake with her mom in her home state of New York, and her hot milk cake is requested at almost every family gathering! Below are the ingredients and directions, as well as an instructional video.

Hot Milk Cake Recipe
(yields 1 cake)
Ingredients:
1 cup milk
½ pound butter
3 eggs
2 cups sugar
2 cups flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Grease and flour bundt pan.
Place milk and butter in saucepan and heat on low until butter is melted.
Beat eggs until fluffy.
Add sugar slowly.
Then add the baking powder, flour, and vanilla.
Pour hot milk and butter into batter.
Mix.
Put in oven immediately.
Bake for 45-50 minutes (might be more depending on your oven).
