This is our 11th National Muffin Day, baking muffins and giving them to people in need. Over the years, we’ve baked thousands of muffins with thousands of Muffinteers in hundreds of cities and donated thousands of dollars. Join us:
🗓️ When: Sunday, 2/23/25 (all day)*
*Note you can bake anytime between 2/20 and 3/2 to be included in the Muffin count.
📍 Where: A kitchen near you or join our virtual baking party
📸 How: Take pictures of your muffins and good deeds, and share on Social Media with #GiveMuffins. For every Muffinter, we’ll match with a monetary donation to two very worthy causes!
🙏 Why: To Raise awareness and spread kindness for people experiencing homelessness and hunger.

❤️ Step 1: Bake Muffins on your own or with Family, Friends, Faith Communities, Campus Groups, Clubs, or Colleagues. Let us know your party plans.
💙 Step 2: Give Muffins. If you are comfortable with handing out muffins to hungry folks in your city, please give. If you're more comfortable donating muffins to a local shelter or community in need, that's great too!
📷 Step 3: Share on Social Media! Post photos of your muffins and Muffinteers (make sure you’re public) with #givemuffins. Find us on all the platforms. Tag us so we can find you faster. We also encourage you to post to our Facebook event page!
💵 Philanthropic Match: For each Muffinteer participating (including kids of course, but sorry no pets), the Muffin Man will donate $20 per Muffinteer. $10 to Project Homeless Connect (an organization in San Francisco that provides much-needed support to people experiencing homelessness there) and Family Promise (a national network helping unhoused families with many critical resources).

Bravo on all that you’re doing, Julia! This is such a great cause. I’ve been baking a lot of muffins lately to give to family and friends. I also handed some out at a Y where we were helping with relief for families who had lost their homes in the recent LA fires. Today I’m making a batch of blueberry muffins for a friend in her 80s who had eye surgery and can’t pursue her great passions for tennis and photography for six weeks while she recovers. I’m not sure if that counts. I’m going to look into where else I might donate some muffins. Thanks again for the inspiration!
